On Type-I And Type-II Istratescu α-Almost Contractions In B-Metric Spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we extend the concepts of Type-I and Type-II Istratescu -almost contractions to b-metric spaces. We explore the existence of fixed points for both Type-I and Type-II mappings, and the obtained results are exemplified through various examples to provide a comprehensive understanding.
